In our town are Indian petroglyphs carved into the rocks by a waterfall...they are anywhere from 300 to thousands of years old. They lost the ability to carbon date them when a local artist was paid to retrace them in the 1930s. He carved too deeply, added his own embellishments and their true history was lost to science! <br />Eileen Charbonneauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01963701147781062536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6386912343147794659.post-31760865538547008352021-06-04T09:48:23.701-06:002021-06-04T09:48:23.701-06:00Thank you, Janet.

I only hope, as we rediscover them, that science will be able to bring them to light, accurately date them, and study them. After all, they are our past. How can we leap into the future if we don't know where we come from?Vijaya Schartzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562958609545624615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6386912343147794659.post-63735304871172940752021-06-04T09:19:55.689-06:002021-06-04T09:19:55.689-06:00How interesting and intriguing.
